Ingredients

• 1 cup Jack Daniel's whiskey (or other cheap bourbon)
• 1 cup ketchup
• 1 cup red wine, white wine, or cider vinegar
• 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 cup onion, very finely chopped
• 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sause
• 1 1/2 tablespoon Tobasco sause
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
